MEET THE TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR
Hello! my name is, Amanda Ball, and I am the Chief Information Officer, District Technology Coordinator, and District Digital Learning Coach, for East Bernstadt Independent School District.
As the District Technology Coordinator (DTC) for our school district, my role is to ensure that students and teachers have access to the best technology for learning, teaching, and staying connected. I help manage the devices, programs, and internet services that support student learning, making sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
Here are some of the things I do:
✅ Support Student Learning – I help bring innovative tools into classrooms, so students can engage in exciting, technology-driven lessons.
✅ Assist Teachers – I provide training and resources to help teachers use technology effectively in their classrooms.
✅ Manage Devices & Networks – From Chromebooks to Wi-Fi, I help keep our school’s technology running so students can focus on learning.
✅ Ensure Online Safety – I work to protect students online by maintaining secure and responsible technology use.
✅ Bring New Ideas to Our Schools – I research and introduce new educational technology to enhance student learning experiences.
Ultimately, my goal is to blaze a trail of innovation so our staff and students have the skills and tools they need for success in school and beyond! 🚀💡📚
