To the parents and students of East Bernstadt School:

Attendance is a crucial component of what comprises a successful school. In fact, research confirms that students with good attendance achieve at a higher level academically than students who are habitually absent. Also, students with immaculate attendance are adjusted better socially.

Attendance is the responsibility of the parent/guardian, then the student, school personnel, and finally the court system. Good attendance will help students as well as the school as a whole. I encourage all students to attend regularly and work hard to achieve educational goals and prepare for a successful future.
